Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, has criticized Valve's approach to AI content disclosures, labeling them a political move. He also drew attention to a old forum post discussing studio closures, which is facing backlash from the community. Sweeney's remarks were echoed by other sources, comparing Steam's AI disclosures to political essays required by the platform and suggesting they resemble requiring developers to provide their voting history.
